Steve Wilkens |
Steve Wilkens was born and grew up locally in Tallahassee, Florida. He is a soccer enthusiast and has actively played for more than 25 years. He is a member of Tallahassee Soccer Association (TSA) and Captain of The Shooters, a Super Six Soccer team. Steve is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and International fitness Professional association (IFPA). He has competed in three amateur bodybuilding shows and won Mr. Florida Bantamweight in 2003. He enjoys helping others, being involved in fundraisers, and healthy competitions. “To enhance individuals’ health, both mentally and physically, while providing encouragement with an emphasis on consistency.”

Jennifer Henderson |
Jennifer Henderson, originally from Plantation, FL, considers Tallahassee her second home. She received her Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Medicine from Florida State University. Jennifer is an AFFA certified personal trainer. Prior to her employment with BodyTrac, Jennifer worked at Tallahassee Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy (TOSPT) as their fitness director. Her work at TOSPT, enabled Jennifer to expand her fitness background in the rehabilitation setting and develop new perspectives in achieving their individual goals. She loves helping individuals realize their potential and getting them to their optimal fitness. In her spare time, Jennifer plays softball, but is a willing spectator of all sports; especially Florida State athletics. Jennifer loves spending time with her family. So much so she has encouraged both her parents to become members of BodyTrac. Her two nieces keep her busy with soccer, cheerleading and friend gossip. She is very close to her two older sisters and is grateful for their insight and encouragement. Jenniferís faith allows her to believe that what the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve. Brice Lockart |
A native of Pensacola, Florida, Brice Lockhart recently moved to Tallahassee in order to pursue a Master’s degree in Exercise Physiology at Florida State University. Brice earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology and his undergraduate internship included training athletes and professional figure models. In addition, Brice’s personal athletic background encompasses soccer, baseball, and football. Brice is ACE Certified with over four years experience as a personal trainer. He also holds certifications in strength and conditioning training, as well as, AFAA yoga fitness. According to Brice, his specialties are sport-specific athletic training, figure training, strength and conditioning, and weight loss. One of Brice’s favorite quotes is “Hate me now. Love me later.” |
James |
A Los Angeles native and Miami bred; James finds the smaller city life of Tallahassee rejuvenating and pleasurable. In 2006 James moved to Tallahassee where he received his Associates of Arts degree and graduated Phi Theta Kappa in 2007. He then moved to Jacksonville, North Carolina, home of Marine Corps base Camp Lejeune in 2009. Here, James was able to use his NCSF (National Council on Strength and Fitness) personal training certification to develop resistance training programs for military spouses wanting to surprise their loved ones on their return home. He also proudly assisted Marines in developing their physical strength and athleticism to excel in their PFT (Personal Fitness Tests) and the physical demands of serving overseas. Over the last three years James has ventured into many aspects of the training field. Some of them include program design, nutrition, sport specific training, aerobic conditioning, rehabilitation, educational seminars, and management. James loves assisting his clients in achieving what they have never imagined possible or maintainable and believes he has only begun scratching the surface of his dedication to this field. Currently James is studying for his NSCA-CPT and after completing his prerequisites at TCC plans to major in Exercise Science at Florida State University. His dreams are to work as the head strength and conditioning coach for a major professional team and to open his own sport specific training facility focusing on extreme sports. He holds a seven hundred hour educational certificate of Massage Therapy and Body Work, an American Red Cross CPR-AED for the professional rescuer certification, and is a Mad Dogg Athletics certified SPINNING instructor. You will find him every weekend at the Tallahassee skate park, local mountain bike trails, paddling his surfboard over at St. George or playing pickup games in town. Brian Ringfiel |
Brian, a.k.a. “Ripfuel”, was born in St. Louis, Missouri and grew up in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. An avid baseball enthusiast, Brian started weight training in an effort to help him become a better baseball player, but soon thereafter realized that he enjoyed weight training much more than baseball. It was at that point that Brian decided to pursue a career in personal training others to attain their personal fitness goals. Brian holds two bachelor’s degrees - one in Nutrition and Fitness and one in Dietetics - and he is currently working on a Master’s degree at Florida State University. As well, Brian is a Certified personal trainer through American Association of Fitness Professionals. In his free time Brian enjoys biking, weight lifting, eating, school, reading, and baking cookies. Brian’s motto is “If the bar ain’t bendin’ you’re just pretendin”. |
Jaime McHaffie |
Jaime Hayes McHaffie is a Florida Licensed and Registered Dietitian. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University (FSU) in dietetics. After graduating from FSU, Jaime attended the University of North Florida in Jacksonville, Florida, where she received her Master of Science degree in health with an emphasis in nutrition. Jaime’s professional experience includes providing nutrition education and counseling to both children and adults. She has also provided medical nutrition therapy to individuals with chronic diseases such as heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes. She enjoys teaching individuals across the lifespan how diet and lifestyle changes can help prevent and manage disease. Jaime is a member of the American Dietetic Association and currently works as a nutritionist for Tallahassee Primary Care Associates. As a nutrition professional, her goals are to help as many people as possible learn how they can eat well and stay active. "Eat Well 2 Live Well." |
